Heroes

Made for an illustration assignment

The theme was 'hero' (or heroes) and I thought of the old ancient Greek heroes like Heracles. (he's in the drawing too, with the lion on his back)

I also added some these-days-heroes like a man who saves a little kitty out of a tree and a Greek-styled Superman. The two soldiers shaking hands on the right were supposed to symbolism peace or something, im not sure if that one worked out, but oh well.


A part of the assignment was that the word heroes had to appear on the drawing, which is pretty good in this case since an ancient vase was filled with names and terms.
The dutch word in "greek" letters (I know this is not a real greek spelling, but I figured not that many people in my class would know how to read that ) is Helden and thats the dutch word for Heroes.


This took me almost 4 hours!!! Its pretty big but I'd never thought it would take me that long hahaha.
